Wetaskiwin Outreach, along with our WRPS Wellness Team, had the opportunity to participate in a River Walk with Dr. Dwayne Donald on our May 16 PLC Day.

Despite the downpour (we're grateful for the moisture - it makes us feel alive!), we were so thankful for the knowledge shared with us by Dr. Donald.  It was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about Indigenous culture and traditions and more about the amiskwaciwiyiniwak history in Edmonton, as well as a time of reflection.
